Walk for Life Sydney 2022

On a warm November day we met at the One More Shot Pond picnic ground in Centennial Park under the glorious liquidambar trees.

Bagpipes heralded the walk and Jenny introduced us to the meaning of the day.

We walked together in our red caps, past giant oak tress and weeping willows, ponds and bats, sharing and remembering our treasured loved ones.

Once returned, we shared our thoughts and reflections over a picnic lunch. The day fulfilled our hopes to provide a setting where people could talk of both deep love and loss and where we could all carry our enduring connections with those who we have lost and who are carrying on.
