Walk for life sydney 2023

Walk for Life Sydney 2023 was once again an opportunity to share and remember with family and friends in the beautiful grounds of Centennial Park. We all came together to recognise the extraordinary depth of love we will always have for our beloved young people who have experienced a sudden heart arrhythmia. The day was also a way to honour and celebrate the lives of those we have lost: be they our children, a parent, grandchild, sibling, partner, nephew, niece, or friend. Side by side with the recognition of the enormity of what has happened was peoples’ determination to live with ongoing love and purpose as we all learn how to cope with the unfathomable scale of this loss. At this gathering, we remembered our beloved person in all of their wholeness and specialness, and carried them in our hearts as we walked under the grand old trees of this park.
